VPN Router Company Sabai Technology Has More Than Just A Pretty New Face

Simpsonville, SC, Jan 16, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- If Sabai Technology President William Haynes has anything to say about it, 2013 is going to be a big year for his company. "We have a lot of goals for this year. Sabai is taking steps to become a larger force in the networking community, not just the VPN Router space," Haynes quotes.

The company reports that the "invitations are out" to their OSv5 beta group, which has been limited to about 30 users who have a long standing relationship with the company. In addition to the new logo and interface face-lift, customers can expect other notable changes to the firmware and a completely new line-up of router models.

The new operating system, which makes huge leaps in usability, remains based on Tomato but with some pretty major changes on the front and back ends. "For instance, Dual Gateway - now known as just 'Gateways' - is easier to use, integrates the VPN Accelerator in a better more streamlined way, and it can even be a tri-gateway, if you wanted," says an enthusiastic Haynes.

In addition to the changes inside the VPN Routers, Sabai also has a total of five new router offerings, in addition to some of the old favorites. Included in that list are a high end Asus model, a NETGEAR, and a Belkin, which comes in under $100 - a first for the company. "We were leery, but, it has great specs and provides excellent value. It is the router I would recommend for a VPN consumer on maybe a short-term assignment, who isn't ready to make the larger investment. It's a perfect low-end solution," says Haynes.

The full details of the OSv5 updates and the new router lineup have not yet been made available by the company, which says it will be slowly unveiling these details over the coming weeks. "Our customers are our biggest champions, and we strive to always serve them as best we can. Each new OS release we have done has gotten bigger and more exciting. We are hoping for OSv5 to be the most thrilling yet," quotes Chief Marketing Officer Anja Smith, "But, we are going to keep folks waiting a bit longer for the details. I can say this though ... it's going to be exciting." Read the full story at http://www.prweb.com/releases/2013/Sabai_Technology_New_Face/prweb10313160.htm PRWeb.com
