WiSpry Announces Benchmark-Setting LTE Tunable Digital Capacitor Array

LAS VEGAS & IRVINE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

WiSpry, Inc., the leader in high-performance, dynamically tunable radio frequency (RF) semiconductor products for the wireless industry, today unveiled the WS1035, a new LTE (News - Alert)-optimized tunable digital capacitor array (TDCA) that offers a 60 percent reduction in board space without compromising capability or coverage. WiSpry is presenting the new tunable RF product at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, taking place January 8-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. WiSpry is located in South Hall 2, Booth 25321.

MIPI® RFFE and SPI interface compatible, the WS1035 features seven bits of capacitance control with resolution of 100 fF within a single-chip wafer-level chip-scale (WLCSP) package. The WS1035 provides these features in a footprint that is 60 percent smaller, making it the premier solution for LTE and LTE-Advanced devices where size, performance and flexibility are paramount. The ultra-linear WS1035 supports stringent requirements for carrier aggregation and LTE-A applications on a global basis, and its interface is plug-and-play compatible with major smartphone cipsets and radio modems.

"True to its brand heritage, the WS1035 outperforms competing products and enables OEMs and operators to reap the maximum ROI from 4G rollouts by allowing seamless coverage across multiple LTE bands," said Victor Steel, vice president of products at WiSpry. "The WS1035 also sets a new benchmark for capability and adaptability - cornerstones of WiSpry's ongoing innovation - and brings us one step closer to our one-world, one-radio vision of the mobile future."
