ServiceNow Ranked Number One Job Creator in Software Industry by Inc. Magazine

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)--

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), a leading provider of cloud-based services to automate enterprise IT operations, today announced it has been named to the inaugural Inc. Magazine Hire Power List which honors America's Top 100 job creators.

ServiceNow experienced a job growth of 880 percent from 2008 to 2011 ranking it number one among software companies that are on the forefront of American job creation. The addition of 792 jobs during the three-year period placed ServiceNow number six among all companies in Calif. and number 14 in the overall Top 100 list.

"ServiceNow's success is driven by our people, who in turn drive technology innovation, infrastructure and support for transforming enterprise IT," said Shelly Begun, vice president of human resources, ServiceNow. "Our ability to hire strong talent is a critical part of our growth strategy and allows us to further set the bar as the leader in IT service automation."

ServiceNow provides a cloud platform for enterprise IT that helps companies consolidate and automate IT operations and enable self-service to reduce the cost while enhancing the speed and quality of delivering IT services.

In 202, ServiceNow more than doubled its employee headcount and expanded its headquarters in San Diego, Calif., its corporate and development center in San Jose, Calif. and major facilities in Kirkland, Wash. and Amsterdam. In April, the company is moving its San Jose location to a larger campus in Santa Clara, Calif. where it will occupy five times the amount of space to accommodate continued growth and hiring in Silicon Valley.

"The top 100 companies on the list have created 73,032 American jobs in the three-year period from 2008 to 2011 - an amazing feat, given that much of that job growth came during the heart of the recession," said Eric Schurenberg, Inc. editor-in-chief. "And it isn't just the big guys that are adding jobs. Companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue make up nearly one-third of the Hire Power list."

ServiceNow has several dozen open positions that span all areas of the business in nearly every state and country across the globe. To apply, please visit the "We're Hiring" page on the ServiceNow website.
