CyberLink YouCam FaceMeTM Facial Recognition Technology Chosen by AMD to Upgrade Human-Computer Experience on Processors Codenamed "Richland" and "Temash"

As we continue to enter the "Post-PC" era, where a keyboard and mouse may be less prevalent on a typical desk, CyberLink's FaceMe^TM technology enables AMD users to skip the lengthy process of typing usernames and passwords, offering a more enjoyable, intelligent human-computer interface.

CyberLink's FaceMe^TM technology provides a convenient access to Windows as well as multiple popular websites, including Facebook (News - Alert), Google, Yahoo!, Youtube, Amazon, etc. By using a smart face recognition algorithm, the solution can quickly detect and recognize the individual features from a webcam, then automatically sign the users in without filling out usernames and passwords. In addition, the technology features a new Face-out function that can automatically lock the screen, sleep, or hibernate the PC when necessary to further enhance PC privacy and save power consumption.
