The North Carolina Biotechnology Center and North Carolina Biosciences (NCBIO) are presenting partners. The keynote speakers at the CED Life Science Conference 2013 are N. Anthony (Tony) Coles, M.D., chairman and CEO, Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Dr. Samuel Nussbaum, M.D., executive vice president, Clinical Health Policy and chief medical officer, WellPoint, Inc.; and Jack W. Szostak, Ph.D., recipient of the 2009 Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine, investigator, Howard Hughes (News - Alert) Medical Institute, and professor of genetics, Harvard Medical School.
