Motor World selects MAM Autopart to manage store operations

Dec 28, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- MAM Software Ltd., a subsidiary of MAM Software Group, Inc., has announced that Motor World, an UK-based car parts and accessories retailer, has selected MAM Autopart to manage its 100 store operation.

The company has begun deploying the business management solution across its shops. Motor World has over 100 stores and depots across the UK. With the company looking to improve efficiency and increase visibility into its operations, Motor World needed a solution capable of managing sales, purchasing and stock control processes across the business. Motor World selected MAM Autopart for its industry specificity, graphical user interface and full integration of every function, especially point-of-sale, ledgers and reporting.

Motor World is also implementing MAM's Autonet B2B eCommerce solution. By enabling each store to see stock held at its central warehouse and raise orders electronically, Motor World can take better control of its inventory and ensure optimal stock performance.

"As the Motor World chain continues to expand, it is crucial we have greater business visibility and insight to improve business performance" said David Cross at Motor World. "The implementation of Autopart will help Motor World support its business objectives by providing greater operational control and easier access to critical information across the enterprise." "We are extremely pleased that Motor World has chosen to implement Autopart throughout its business" said Mike Jamieson, CEO of MAM Software. "Increasingly, organisations are looking to integrated business management solutions to improve performance through enhanced operational efficiencies. Autopart will provide Motor World with rich functionality across the enterprise, offering real-time visibility between all points-of-sale and its central administrative operations. We are confident that Autopart will help Motor World achieve its goals of greater business agility and improved process performance." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
