In The Event Awarded Two Year Contract with the Salt Lake City CorporationDec 27, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Salt Lake City based event design firm, In The Event has been awarded a two year contract with the Salt Lake City Corporation, providing special event items and event rentals. In The Event will be assisting the City's various departments whenever they have a need for event equipment or support, including delivery, setup and take down. Having recently celebrated their five year anniversary, In The Event has amassed a large warehouse over the past several years, enabling them to fulfill the City's event needs. Rental items include their specialty wireless LED furniture, in addition to basics such as leather furniture, tables, chairs, linens, easels, etc. With their main focus being corporate events, "In The Event is well equipped to handle the City's event needs," says company owner and Vice President Robert LaSpina. LaSpina combined efforts with his wife GayLyn to create In The Event, utilizing her design background and his sales and production experience to propel the company forward. In addition to GayLyn's design background, the In The Event team includes three more certified interior designers. With the City's interest in working with suppliers that have in place formal sustainability initiatives, In the Event included their sustainability policy in the proposal, stating their mission to be a green company. During the design process In The Event attempts to utilize products that are earth friendly and can be re-purposed for a number of event decor needs. Additionally, the company is one of the largest wireless LED decor houses in Utah, allowing them to produce more energy efficient events, requiring less power than standardized lighting. In The Event will be responsible for providing equipment for all events for the Salt Lake City Corporation, including projects of large and small scope, on a short or long term basis.
