BRIEF: Police seek Southeast Boise bank robber


Dec 21, 2012 (The Idaho Statesman - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Boise police received a report about 10:19 a.m. Friday of a robbery at Chase Bank on the 6400 block of Federal Way near Gowen Road in Southeast Boise.



Witnesses told police the robber demanded cash from the teller, but did not display a weapon. The suspect was last seen leaving the business on foot northbound from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

A search of the immediate area did not result in an immediate arrest. No one was injured during the incident.


The robber is described as a light-skinned male, under 6 feet tall, possibly wearing glasses, a dark T-shirt, a gray or tan hat, a gray or tan jacket with a hood and blue-colored jeans.
