BRIEF: Smart phone reported stolen in Centerville armed robberyCENTERVILLE, Dec 21, 2012 (The Macon Telegraph - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- An armed robbery in the parking lot of the Subway at 100 Houston Lake Road Thursday afternoon was reported to police. A young couple told police that they were robbed in the parking at 4 p.m. by a man with a pistol, said Centerville police Capt. Roger Hayes. The boyfriend told police his iPhone was stolen, Hayes said. The couple came to the Centerville police station to report the incident at 5:45 p.m. The couple was not able to give police a detailed description of the suspect, who fled on foot, Hayes said. Police are pulling surveillance videos from stores in the shopping center that houses the Subway, he said. Anyone with information is asked to call Centerville police Sgt.
