Size of China Cloud Computing Market to Hit USD1.83bn 2013

BEIJING, Dec 17, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- IDC reckons that there will be some changes in China's cloud computing market in 2013.

In detail, most local governments will no longer blindly build cloud computing centers in large scale, and the cloud computing service market is reckoned to hit USD 1.83 billion in the country, up 52.2% year on year. Meanwhile, "corporate cloud" will be integrated and deepened, and "personal cloud" is expected to develop fast in China.

Even though most of the local governments have ceased blindly constructing cloud computing centers in large scale, they have played a significant part in cultivating cloud computing industrial chain. Meanwhile, telecom operators and Internet companies have also enlarged investment in the cloud computing service market, and some traditional enterprises in the fields of finance, manufacture, energy, etc have begun developing private cloud computing applications.

Just as IDC pointed out, cloud computing would become one of the mainstream business models in China in 2013. Meanwhile, there is a trend that enterprise-level cloud platforms will be further integrated and deepened, and users will begin to care for the details relating to the construction and application of cloud computing technology.
