BRIEF: Stanislaus veterans panel moves up meetingMODESTO, Dec 13, 2012 (The Modesto Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Stanislaus County Veterans Advisory Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday to discuss a variety of topics, such as facility needs and partnerships with education and job placement programs. Because of the holidays, the commission moved up its monthly meeting and changed the location to the basement community room at the Modesto library, 1500 I St. The panel will talk about outreach strategies and better access to transportation for veterans.
