Johns Hopkins selects Mirada's image analysis software for tumor tracking

Dec 12, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Mirada Medical has announced that its XD3 advanced image review and analysis software has been selected by The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, for implementation in the department of nuclear medicine.

Mirada's latest XD3 software provides tools and workflows for quantitative tumor tracking of findings in various studies for all modalities including CT, MRI, PET/CT and PET/MRI.

"We are proud to have our XD3 diagnostic software selected by Johns Hopkins University," said Hugh Bettesworth, CEO of Mirada Medical.

"The power of XD3 to assess unlimited time points, and multiple modalities at the same time point, helps clinicians to quantify and make sense out of all the available images. We aim to support them in delivering the most comprehensive assessment of patient response to treatment by fully utilizing all of the available data," continued Bettesworth.
