FF&P Private Equity invests in SohonetDec 10, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- FF&P Private Equity (FF&P PE) has invested in Sohonet Limited, a provider of connectivity and data management services for the media and entertainment industry. Both the entities are based in the UK. FF&P PE is the private equity business of Fleming Family & Partners Limited (FFP), a provider of asset management, hedge funds, private equity and trust services. Pursuant to the transaction, FF&P PE will become the major single minority shareholder in Sohonet, with the remaining shares being held by the management team and angel investors from the management team buyout in 2003. MediaBridge Capital Advisors acted as financial advisor and Dundas & Wilson CS, LLP acted as legal advisor to Sohonet for the transaction. Speechly Bircham LLP acted as legal advisor and RSM Tenon Limited acted as financial advisor to FF&P PE for the transaction.
