TeleTech Celebrates 8th Annual "Spirit of the Season" Event With Denver Public School

DENVER --(Business Wire)--

The employees of TeleTech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEC), a leading global provider of technology-enabled customer experience solutions, and the TeleTech Community Foundation will bring the "Spirit of the Season" to life for Denver Public School's University Prep students and families on December 10. For the eighth consecutive year TeleTech (News - Alert) employees will forego a corporate holiday party and dedicate the funds to creating a magical experience for community members in need. The employees will volunteer thousands of hours preparing for the event that culminates in a holiday meal and a visit from Santa. In addition, TeleTech will be purchasing 10 SMARTboards and mobile carts for the school.

"The TeleTech Commnity Foundation's mission is focused on transforming the educational experience for students of greatest need," said Richard Herbst, VP of the TeleTech Community Foundation. "We selected University Prep because of their mission to educate and prepare every student for college, as well as the school's commitment to building family partnerships. We are thrilled they accepted our invitation to participate in the TeleTech 'Spirit of the Season'. We are also proud to be working with the school on building a broader, longer term relationship through the Denver Public School (DPS) Foundation's School Partners Program."

University Prep is a tuition-free, kindergarten through fifth grade public charter school that is part of the Denver Public School district. Located near the Five Points neighborhood in Denver, University Prep believes that all scholars deserve an exceptional education regardless of zip code, race or socioeconomic status. Headed by David Singer, University Prep lead founder and head of school, University Prep scholars are focused on setting the foundation in kindergarten to achieve a college degree.

The "Spirit of the Season" holiday event recognizes a different local school each year for its achievements. Over the course of the past eight years, TeleTech has hosted other local, Denver schools including: McGlone Elementary, in the Montebello community of Denver, Beach Court Elementary, Harrington Elementary and Garden Place Elementary.

"It's an amazing feeling to see TeleTech employees volunteering their time throughout the year to prepare for the Spirit of the Season," said Ken Tuchman, Chairman and CEO, TeleTech. "I am looking forward to the event and am extremely honored to help support the students and families of University Prep this holiday season."
