China Mobile to Build TD-LTE Network in NanjingNANJING, Dec 10, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- It is disclosed that China Mobile Group Jiangsu Co., Ltd. (China Mobile Jiangsu) will invest CNY 7 billion to construct TD-LTE network, namely, 4G wireless communication network, in Nanjing in 2013. The mobile 4G network is reckoned to cover the main part of Nanjing city, the Xianlin and Jiangning university towns and some other places as of the first half of 2013 at fastest. While searching for manufacturing partners to develop 4G mobile phones, China Mobile Jiangsu will also develop a box of network access that can transmit 4G network signals to WIFI signals for mobile phone and laptop users, according to senior executives of the company. It is said that the highest speed of China Mobile 4G network exceeds 80Mbps and is tens of times as fast as that of 3G network.
