Texas Instruments to Launch Base in Tianfu Software ParkCHENGDU, Dec 06, 2012 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Texas Instruments, Inc. (TI, NYSE: TXN) has signed an agreement with the Tianfu Software Park to enlarge its R&D and sales center in Chengdu. Texas Instruments is said to found a base covering 2,200 square meters in the E zone of the park, signifying that the company's comprehensive industrial chain focusing on R&D, manufacture and sale will be formed in the city. Texas Instruments has a staff of over 500 in Chengdu and provides products with the key technology of target identification (TI), including energy controlled chips used for mobile phones and tablet computers.
