Watch for Shares of Yum! Brands (YUM) to Approach Support at $65.95

Dec 04, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Shares of Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) opened today below their pivot of $67.06 and have already reached the first level of support at $66.37. Should the shares continue to fall, the support pivots of $65.95 and $64.84 will be of interest.

There is potential upside of 20.8% for shares of Yum! Brands based on a current price of $65.67 and an average consensus analyst price target of $79.33. The stock should run into initial resistance at its 200-day moving average (MA) of $68.09 and subsequent resistance at its 50-day MA of $70.24.

Over the past year, Yum! Brands has traded in a range of $56.41 to $74.75 and is now at $65.67, 16% above that low. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has remained constant while the 50-day MA has advanced 0.2%.
