There is also a new generation of ultrabooks that is now available; these have benifited from greater time in development, and integrate touch technology into the ultra-portable laptops to make the most of Windows 8. In our time with these machines, using the touch interface was comfortable enough, though the angle of the screen could make it inconvenient in some situations. Clearly, touch-enabled laptops also need to be refined, but for now, here are the new Windows 8 touch-enabled laptops -- Samsung Series 5 Ultra Touch Packing in high-end hardware, the Series 5 Ultra Touch offers great value for money. The machine is powerful enough to run just about anything and has a simple and stylish design. According to Samsung, the underside is also made using fibreglass, to protect it from bumps and drops, though at 1.64kg, it is a little heavy. Sony Vaio T 13 The Vaio T 13 is priced the same as the Samsung Series 5 but falls short on the hardware specifications. The small screen size actually makes it fairly easy to use the touch screen, and the VivoBook also has a comfortable keyboard, considering the size.
