Dec 04, 2012 (Alamogordo Daily News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Thursday, Nov. 29. Day shift. Raymon Farrell 32, of the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue, was arrested on a New Mexico Corrections Department arrest order for an alleged probation violation. Farrell was jailed at the Otero County Detention Center to appear in 12th Judicial District Court.



A 15-year-old boy was arrested on a 12th Judicial District Children's Court warrant for a probation violation The boy was jailed at a juvenile facility to appear in court.

Jesse Tijerina, 34, of the 500 block of U.S. Highway 70 West, pursuant to a domestic disturbance at his residence was arrested for alleged battery against a household member and criminal damage to property of a household member after he allegedly threw a lamp at his girlfriend causing visible injury. Tijerina was also served a Deaf Smith County Texas bench warrant for alleged child neglect. He is jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond to appear in Otero County Magistrate Court then to await extradition to Texas.


Alamogordo Department of Public Safety officers responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Crescent Drive around 3:49 p.m. in reference to a breaking and entering in progress. The investigation revealed that around 3:30 p.m. a Caucasian male with a then build standing 5-foot--5 and wearing camouflage clothing was observed by a neighbor attempting to break into the residence through a window. ADPS officers also located through investigation the unknown male suspect caused damage to the window screen but entry was not gained. The investigation continues A 16-year-old boy was referred to the Juvenile Probation Office for reckless driving at Alamogordo High School. The investigation revealed that the boy was allowing another student to ride on the roof of the boy's vehicle while the boy was driving through the parking lot then the student fell off the vehicle and sustained non-life threatening injuries. The student was transported to Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center by the student's parent. The 16-year-old boy driver was released to his parent.

Christina Hahn, 28, of Las Cruces, was arrested on a service of order violation that occurred in the 1000 block of Eddy Drive in Alamogordo. Hahn was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond to appear in District Court.

Ashley Robertson-Warner, 27, of the 900 block of Dexter Lane was arrested on a Magistrate Court bench warrant for alleged aggravated battery with a Deadly weapon and tampering with evidence. Robertson-Warner was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond to appear in court.

A residence in the 1500 block of Galway Drive reported that sometime between Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 an unknown suspect spray painted in black vulgar words on the backyard cinder bock wall of the property. The unknown suspect also stole two bicycles from the backyard of the home. The bicycles were found in the desert area behind the residence. The investigation continues. Night shift. Jamal Martin, 30, of the 400 block of Third Street, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated, vehicle entering stop or yield intersection and resisting or obstructing an officer after a traffic stop. While ADPS officers were investigating a hit and run accident at Byrd and Municipal avenues, they allegedly observed Martin run a stop sign at Byrd Avenue and Lucky Street. Martin was jailed at OCDC in lieu of bond to appear in court.

Nichole Wells, 26, of the 1400 block of Cuba Avenue, was arrested on a Municipal Court bench warrant for alleged failure to pay fines. Wells was jailed at OCDC in lieu of a $5,000 bond to appear in Municipal Court as directed.
