BRIEF: Modesto Police: Man robs Subway on Yosemite BoulevardMODESTO, Dec 03, 2012 (The Modesto Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Modesto police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a Subway sandwich shop this morning on Yosemite Boulevard. It's at least the fifth such robbery of a Subway in Modesto since October and the third at this shop over the same period, according to Lt. Jolene Gonzales of the Modesto Police Department. Gonzales said that at 7:30 this morning, a man entered the store with a black handgun, demanded money and fled the scene on foot. Gonzales said she believed the store was still closed, and that there were only employees inside. Nobody was injured. The suspect is described as white, about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds with blue eyes. Witnesses report that he was wearing a blue bandana over his face, a brown-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
