Strategies Unlimited Announces Partnership with Paula Mints and SPV Market Research
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Strategies Unlimited, a leading market research company covering the LED
& Lighting, Lasers, Photonics, and Photovoltaic industries is pleased to
announce a partnership with Paula Mints and her new company, SPV Market
Research. The two companies will collaborate on photovoltaic market
research, custom consulting, and an industry service.
Ms. Mints has an MBA from San Jose State. She was most recently a
director in the energy division responsible for the Solar Services
Program at Navigant Consulting, and prior to that was a Senior Market
Analyst at Strategies Unlimited.
Strategies Unlimited began providing photovoltaic market research
products in the mid-1970s.
Ms. Mints is widely recognized for her expertise in the global solar
technologies market. Her insight and analysis on the technology,
manufacturing, and demand sides of the solar industry are regrded as
"must reads" for industry professionals. Ms. Mints is currently working
with the CPV consortium to develop its forecast. She publishes often
with Renewable Energy World and Renewable Energy Focus. Recently her
chapter, Overview of Photovoltaic Production, Markets and Perspectives,
was published in the Fraunhofer (News - Alert)/Elsevier book Advances in Photovoltaics
Volume 1, edited by Dr. Gerhard Willeke and Dr. Eicke Weber. In 2012,
Ms. Mints spoke at several conferences, including the IEEE (News - Alert) PVSC and EU
PVSEC, where she presented her work on photovoltaic technology pricing.
In December 2012 she will speak at Intersolar China, Beijing, where she
will present an analysis of, and forecast for, the US solar market.
Globally, the manufacturing side of the solar industry is in the midst
of its most significant consolidation while the industry as a whole
adjusts to a low incentive environment. In 2013, SPV Market Research,
and Strategies Unlimited will publish quarterly and biannual reports
addressing the concerns facing the solar industry its technologies,
suppliers, markets and participants and will be available for special
projects.
