BRIEF: Police seek help in finding attempted armed robbery suspects


Dec 03, 2012 (The Charlotte Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking the public to help identify two suspects connected with an attempted armed robbery.

On Nov. 25, two people entered the One Stop Smoke Shop at 9630 University City Blvd. A woman demanded money from the clerk while armed with a knife.

The two suspects did not get any merchandise from the store and left the business in an unknown direction. The store clerk was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a light skinned, 5-foot-5-inch black female with a medium build. She was last seen wearing a hoodie.

The second suspect is described as a light skinned, 6-foot-3-inch black male with a small afro who was also last seen wearing a hoodie.



Both are believed to be in their early 20's.
