BRIEF: Rep. Saylor: Areas of York County to get 4G coverage

YORK, Pa., Nov 29, 2012 (York Daily Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Several locations in York County that previously lacked high-speed wireless Internet service will now have access.

State Rep. Stan Saylor, R-Windsor Township, said Thursday that 4G LTE technology from Verizon Wireless will expand coverage in include New Park area of Fawn Township, Delta in Peach Bottom Township, the Brogue area of Chanceford Township and Hanover, according to a news release.

This service expansion allows residents of these areas the option of high-speed, in-home Internet access where options are limited or not currently available.

"Over the years many people have contacted my office about Internet access, particularly to complain that they had no options for high-speed Internet in their home or their wireless devices," Saylor said in a release.
