AddLive Announces New Customers Wello, Buzzumi, and Hall

San Francisco, CA, Nov 27, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Addlive today announced they had added new customers Wello, buzzumi and Hall.com as the latest users of their cross platform, WebRTC compliant API and real time communications services. The company is witnessing exponential interest and growth amongst the developer community as start-ups, and established corporates move to add live video, chat, screen sharing and other collaborative features to their products and services.

Driven in part by increasing interest in WebRTC, AddLive customers are positioning themselves to capitalize on the new connectedness of the web and to take advantage of the wave of disruption live video will deliver to many industries. By selecting AddLive as their WebRTC compatible vendor, they illustrate the importance of ensuring quality of video service, as well as cross platform integration for enterprise customers.

"While WebRTC opens the doors to plugin free delivery of live video within web browsers, equally important for enterprise customers is to ensure that consistent quality is delivered across all the various user communities." stated Kavan Seggie, AddLive Founder and CEO. "The second important factor our customers seek to deliver is cross platform integration. WebRTC is now supported in Chrome, and soon Firefox web browsers. That leaves Safari and Internet Explorer lagging, along with mobile platforms (Android and IOS) and Native desktop integrations." he continued. "Once you unleash live video as a core service, you need to deliver it on the devices your users already have. You cannot expect people to adopt different browsers and devices to consume your service." Wello Co-CEO and Founder, Ann Scott Plante (based in San Francisco) is one of the new adoptees of the AddLive service for her startup, which has created a marketplace for fitness trainers to connect with their customers over live video in the privacy of their homes. "We understand that providing high-quality video is critical to our client experience." stated Ann. "Since we implemented AddLive, our customers have been raving about the improvements, particularly with regard to the audio connection." The company next plans to roll out IOS with support.

AddLive customer buzzumi is a startup based in London with large, enterprise customers in the pharmaceutical space. Daniel Marovitz, the companies Founder and CEO believes that the future of the workplace involves integrated platforms that mirror the way users work face-to-face. Citing an example of their product at work he stated. "Just last week, buzzumi software, using the AddLive service, enabled a world-renown medical specialist in the US to present to a conference in Sydney, Australia. Our client in this case was a major pharmaceutical company. The format included the presenter being able to see and hear the audience while presenting, and to perform a Q&A at the end. We were able to drive the bandwidth and frame settings right up and ended up with a full-screen projected image of very high quality. This example demonstrates how a powerful API with a lot of controls, combined with the right service quality, in the right contextual format made for a very compelling experience for all involved." AddLive is a sponsor at the WebRTC conference in San Francisco this week and will be demonstrating the capabilities of their API and platform in one of the general audience sessions there.
