BRIEF: Akron teens charged in school break-in

Nov 26, 2012 (The Akron Beacon Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Three Akron teens -- ranging in age from 13 to 17 -- have been arrested for last week's break-in at Roswell Kent Middle School.

Authorities say the teens "used a brick and broke out a rear window" of the school on Hammel Street about 9:40 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

The teens used fire extinguishers to gain entry into a classroom on the second floor, police said, and they took 11 iPads and four laptop computers. They then discharged the fire extinguishers into the classroom.

Officers and detectives found the suspects in the 900 block of Barbara Avenue.

The stolen iPads and laptop computers were returned to the school.
