Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) and 10 developers have agreed to cooperate in the provision of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) services in the area of housing and apartments.



Cooperation agreement has been signed by the Director of Consumer of Telkom, Sukardi Silalahi, and the leader of the developers, in Jakarta, Friday (23/11/2012).

According to the agreement, Telkom will provide products such as Voice, Data & Internet, Pay TV / Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), Hotspot / WiFi and Video Services in the Marketing Office, Home, and General Facilities located in the Housing and / or apartments area.


Sukardi Silalahi said the cooperation with the 10 developers was not only intended as a value creation done with Telkom and the developers. 'The Cooperation is not only selling each product, but also creating and enhancing value creation of each party,' said Sukardi.

The ten developers are: PT. Pancanaka Swasakti Utama, PT. Bina Samakta, PT. Delta Sarana Prima, PT. Tri Biconts Pratama, PT. Delta Pinang Mas, PT. Delta Kahuripan, PT Agung Podomoro represented by PT. Dian Ikrar Perkasa, PT. Duta Anggada represented by PT. Duta Telkomindo Nusantara, PT. Mentari Cyber Media and PT Indoakses.

The entire area and / or apartments run by the developers will have a modern telecommunications infrastructure that can be utilized by both the developers' management and the occupants and tenants.

Specifically to serve the needs of the developers, Telkom will use the most up-to-date technology, that is, Fiber To The Home (FTTH), which is a delivery format of optical signals from the provider to the users by using an optical fiber as a delivery medium.

Sukardi explained Telkom cooperation with the developers was the right step, considering the urgent need for fast internet access in big cities in Indonesia, particularly Jakarta, therefore, the operation of FTTH infrastructure in the area and housing was very proper and even has become a lifestyle.

'The application of FTTH technology will certainly increase the value of the area and the property itself and it is Telkom's pride to participate in creating the ideal residential with up-to-date telecommunication facilities,' said Sukardi.

Application of Technology of Fiber to The Home (FTTH) The development of optical fiber technology is now able to replace the use of conventional cable and Telkom is driven by the desire to provide services known as Triple Play Services, a fast internet access service, voice (telephone network, PSTN) and video (cable TV) in one infrastructure of the customers' unit.
