Atrenta Expands Sales and Support Operations in Israel
EVEN YEHUDA, Israel --(Business Wire)--
Atrenta
Inc., the leading provider of SoC Realization solutions for the
semiconductor and consumer electronics industries, announced today a
significant expansion in its sales and support operations in Israel with
the addition of a dedicated sales manager and a customer solutions
architect.
Uri Farkash joins Atrenta as sales manager for Israel from Sigrity,
where he was sales and site manager of the Israeli branch until its
recent acquisition by Cadence Design Systems (News - Alert). Previously, Farkash worked
for the Israeli distributor AST, where he served as the director of EDA
& IP operations for more than nine years. Uri Farkash brings 25 years of
electronic design automation (EDA) experience to the position. Uri has a
Computer Engineering degree from the Polytechnic Institute of
Cluj-Napoca in Romania.
Igal Ze'evi, an Israeli Technion ee BSc graduate, joins Atrenta as
customer solutions architect for Israel. Previously, Ze'evi worked at
Synopsys (News - Alert) Israel for six years where he was a senior design/applications
consultant delivering services for most of the front-end and back-end
steps in IC design. Before that, Ze'evi served as VLSI manager at
Horion Semiconductors, senior technical designer at Charlotte's Web
Networks and group leader for Ethernet IP development at IBM (News - Alert).
Atrenta decided to expand its sales and support operations in Israel to
better serve both local Israeli customers and the many multi-national
customers who maintain design centers in the region.
