MakeMusic selects Dell to deliver cloud solution with Salesforce Sales CloudNov 22, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Dell Cloud Business Applications, which offers a portfolio of SaaS applications and services, has announced that music technology company MakeMusic, Inc. has selected Dell to deliver a cloud solution with Salesforce Sales Cloud. MakeMusic's solution reportedly improves active sales forecasting and enables the ability to track sales leads, allowing for the integration of marketing and business development activities. MakeMusic sells its products both directly and through a group of independent resellers. This sales model, including multiple purchase methods and frequencies, led MakeMusic to select Dell Cloud Business Applications to implement a Salesforce CRM solution that allows the company to produce an active sales forecast that can be viewed in real-time by sales reps and executives. The solution offers a way to track sales leads through sales process and to integrate marketing and business development activities throughout the organization, the company said.
