CHU saw 3.204 million increase in 3G users (including 76,300 wireless 3G network card users) in October, making the total 3G user number reaching 70.07 million. According to main October operating data issued on November 19, the operator saw its 2G users increase by 190,000 households and surpass 162.81 million in October. In terms of fixed network business, as of the end of October, 2012, China Unicom saw its local telephone users decrease by 25,000 households to 92.60 million, while that of broadband users climbed by 677,000 to 63.328 million.
