Frontier Communications expands Satellite Broadband Rural areas in Washington State


Nov 21, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Communications services provider Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR), announced on Tuesday that its satellite-based broadband service, Frontier Broadband, is now available in a number of rural markets in northwest Washington state.



The company said that its Broadband products are supported by customer service and support teams, 100% US-based local installation, adding that small businesses and households will be able to obtain increased speed and capacity within markets previously underserved or unserved by any broadband provider, including cable.

Frontier Broadband accesses the Hughes EchoStar XVII Satellite with JUPITER High-Throughput Technology, which enables HughesNet Gen4 satellite Internet services for Frontier Broadband customers.


Prices for Frontier Broadband starts at USD52.00 to USD145.48 per month.
