Allot deploys Service Gateway for Millicom

Nov 21, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Allot Communications Ltd (NASDAQ:ALLT) (TASE:ALLT), a supplier of service optimisation and revenue generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband service providers, said today that it has completed a deployment project for nine affiliates of Millicom International Cellular SA (NASDAQ OMX:MIC).

Financial details of the contract were not revealed.

Millicom, which offers telecommunication services under the Tigo brand in Latin America and Africa, chose Allot for its integrated Allot Service Gateway solution which enables a variety of value-added services to be delivered in flexible packages within a single chassis.


"Our wide range of integrated services within the Allot Service Gateway enables a unified approach to mobile data optimisation and monetisation," commented Vin Costello, Allot's vice-president and general manager for the Americas.
