CACI International receives $70 million task order contract from US HUD

Nov 21, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- CACI International Inc., a provider of information solutions and services, has received a $70 million task order contract to continue providing information technology, or IT, and software development support to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development's, or HUD, Office of Community Planning and Development, or CPD.

The award was issued against the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract vehicle. This award reinforces CACI's diverse portfolio of business in the federal civilian sector.

The HUD CPD Office seeks to develop viable communities by promoting integrated approaches that provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expand economic opportunities for low and moderate income persons. CPD administers programs with over $7 billion in community development and assistance grants annually. CACI is providing software development and general IT support to maintain, enhance, and increase the efficiency of CPD's grant management systems.

CACI president and CEO Dan Allen said, "This award grows CACI's work in our Enterprise IT market segment and continues our support for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development's efforts to expand economic opportunities and better the lives of our nation's citizens. Our ongoing business in the federal civilian market is a strong example of the diversity of CACI's clients and our success in providing transformation solutions that help government agencies increase efficiency and best serve all Americans." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
