Tyler Technologies Unveils New Windows Software(FinancialWire via COMTEX) -- November 15, 2012 (FinancialWire) -- Integrated information management company Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) recently announced the launch of its Munis Field Inspector for Windows 8 and Windows RT, Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) new version of its Windows operating system. Tyler's Munis application is reportedly designed to provide permit and code enforcement field crews with Windows phone or tablet access over a cellular or Wi-Fi connection in order to perform their jobs more efficiently. Munis Field Inspector will automatically access the day's schedule and necessary information for the inspector to perform inspections, capture comments and attach photos from anywhere in the field, according to Tyler. Results are then uploaded to the Munis enterprise resource planning system automatically when the mobile device has a strong cellular or wireless signal, Tyler noted.
