[November 12, 2012] BRIEF: School program allows children to take a veteran to school Tweet Nov 12, 2012 (Odessa American - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Ross Elementary is participating in a program that encourages students to bring a veteran to school on Wednesday. The program is geared toward honoring veterans for their service as well as providing an opportunity for students to learn about veterans' experiences. The initiative is a partnership between Cable ONE and History, the television network. Participating schools will receive a Veterans Day video produced between by the U.S. Department of Education.
