(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Northridge, CA (PRWEB) November 09, 2012 Micro Matic, the world’s leader in beverage dispensing equipment for kegged beer and wine, is hosting its second annual “Micro Matic Gives Back” charitable campaign this holiday season.

From November 11th to December 28th, The “Gives Back” campaign will donate five percent of all online sales to Operation Homefront. Last year, the campaign raised over $20,000.

Micro Matic is the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of beverage dispensing equipment, supplying all parts and systems necessary for quality draft beer and kegged wine. Micro Matic is a leading supplier of commercial draft beverage systems as well as home bar equipment.

An international company, Micro Matic has a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility throughout all of its operations.

Micro Matic’s commitment to being a strong corporate citizen has fostered a relationship with Operation Homefront and a continued partnership in the form of the annual “Gives Back” campaign.

Operation Homefront is a national non-profit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Founded immediately following 9/11, Operation Homefront currently helps military personnel and their families across the nation in 41 states.

“We started our ‘Gives Back’ campaign last year with Operation Homefront and were immediately encouraged by the outpouring of support from our customers and employees,” said John Soler, Managing Director of Micro Matic.

Operation Homefront provides direct services to alleviate a military family’s or individual’s emergency financial burden, as well as providing counseling and/or recovery support. Other emergency funding assistance, which an applicant receives within 24 to 72 hours, includes the following: financial assistance, emergency food, emergency home repairs, critical baby care items, local moving assistance, and wounded warrior transitional family housing.

Micro Matic’s annual “Gives Back” campaign helps to facilitate these life-changing assistance programs that Operation Homefront provides across the country.

Operation Homefront has seen an increased number of requests for financial and food assistance over last year. The holiday season is an especially important time to show support for our service members and their families through donations, community celebrations, and volunteerism.

“The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect on the many sacrifices made by our troops and their families. We look forward to donating the proceeds of the ‘Gives Back’ campaign to Operation Homefront,” said Soler.

Supporting charities and local communities is integral to being a good corporate citizen – something that Micro Matic strongly emphasizes across all operations worldwide. The “Gives Back” campaign reflects the Micro Matic commitment and continued support of this mission by helping our troops and their families here at home.
