AT&T announces availability of 4G LTE network in Little Rock


Nov 09, 2012 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) said on Thursday that it has turned on its 4G LTE network in Little Rock, Arkansas.

AT&T's 4G LTE provides several benefits including faster speeds, faster response time and more efficient use of spectrum.

Also, the company offers several LTE-compatible devices, including new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets, such as the Sony Xperia TL, LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy S III, Motorola ATRIX HD, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia 900, Samsung Galaxy Note and Pantech Element tablet amongst others.



AT&T has reportedly invested over USD500m in its Arkansas wireless and wireline networks over the past three years. Over the past five years, the company has invested more than USD115bn into operations and into acquiring spectrum and other assets to enhance its wireless and wired networks and currently covers over 285 million people.
