Nine Service Providers Honored with Calix Innovation Awards

Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today announced nine of its communications service provider customers were named 2012 Calix Innovation Award winners at the Calix User Group Conference in Las Vegas. In their second year, these awards were presented to service providers who demonstrated excellence in leveraging the Calix Unified Access portfolio to deliver new revenue-generating services, demonstrate commitment to their local communities, and drive overall network and business transformation. Highlighting a wide variety of advanced applications, network technologies, and geographic locations around the country, the Calix Innovation Award videos were shown to the nearly 1500 registered attendees at the Conference.
The 2012 Calix Innovation Award winners are:
* Arrowhead Electric Cooperative and CTC for Innovation in Partnering for Broadband Expansion
* Cincinnati Bell for Innovation in Leveraging VDSL2 for Advanced Services
* Consolidated Telcom for Innovation in Leveraging Compass Software
* Endeavor Communications for Innovation in New Revenue-Generating Services
* Highland Telephone Cooperative for Innovation in Bringing Broadband to Underserved Areas
* Home Telecom for Innovation in Business Development with Fiber Access
* Smithville for Innovation in Fiber Access
* South Slope for Innovation in Unified Access
* TMS for Innovation in Consortium Building

Calix User Group Conference Showcases Industry Leaders to Growing Audience
The Calix User Group Conference once again drew a record number of service providers, Calix Compatible partners and industry-leading speakers to the Wynn Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas. In its ninth year, the four-day event mixed visionary speakers and targeted breakout sessions with in-depth training, networking, and world-class entertainment.
