MorphoTrak to Supply Massachusetts Police with Biometric Identification System


Nov 01, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Morpho, a provider of identification systems, announced that the Massachusetts State Police has selected its U.S. subsidiary, MorphoTrak, to provide MorphoBIS, its next generation Biometric Identification System, for the Commonwealth's new statewide system.



According to a release, this tool integrates fingerprints and palm prints, providing high-volume searches throughout the Commonwealth by federal, state, and municipal agencies.

"This 'future-proofed' solution permits the rapid integration of new biometric modalities and transaction types," said Daniel Vassy, President and CEO of MorphoTrak. "We are excited to create a strong, lasting partnership with MASP, starting with the full conversion of existing biometric data." MorphoTrak provides biometric and identity management solutions.
