The Digital World in Action at TM Forum's Management World Americas
MORRISTOWN, N.J. --(Business Wire)--
As service providers look to adapt their businesses to take advantage of
the rapidly emerging digital services economy, TM
Forum's Catalyst
program at Management
World Americas brings to life innovative solutions that focus on a
range of hot industry issues including cyber security, cloud mobility,
big data, mobile money, smart grid, eHealth and more.
TM Forum's Catalyst program takes a unique approach to collaboration by
providing the communications value chain a neutral environment to
rapidly develop prototype solutions to some of the most urgent service
management challenges today. At Management World Americas, held Dec.
3-6, 2012, at the Rosen Shingle Creek, in Orlando, Fla., leading service
providers, international banks, top universities and large suppliers are
all working together to demonstrate six digital services-focused
Catalyst projects. These new Catalysts are part of TM Forum's Digital
Services Initiative which helps companies focus on overcoming the
challenges of managing complex digital services.
"As service providers look toward the emerging digital economy, they
need to see it as a vast opportunity rather than something to fear,"
said Nik Willetts, chief strategy officer, TM Forum. "The digital
revolution is transforming enterprise IT; creating opportunities for
service providers to revolutionize their business operations and grow
profits. As these transformations reveal new challenges, TM Forum is
responding, bringing together the entire value-chain in our Catalyst
