Samsung Electronics America's Eric Anderson to Deliver Opening Keynote Address at Streaming Media West 2012

Scheduled for Tuesday, October 30, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Anderson will examine the ways in which today's market is poised to engage multitasking consumers with interactive content across a multitude of screens, and how companies such as Samsung are prepared to deliver solutions that meet consumers' needs. Anderson will also discuss some of the new ways consumers can interact with Smart TV apps and how the living room experience is embracing the notion of "TV everywhere." Anderson has more than 20 years of experience in the digital content delivery space. His primary responsibility is to enhance the Samsung end user experience by providing content discovery and access services across the company's wide array of product categories. Prior to his role at Samsung, Anderson served as SVP of Business Development and orporate Development for Handango (News - Alert), an independent Smartphone application store provider and content aggregator. Before joining Handango, Anderson oversaw the Media and Entertainment group for Ericsson (News - Alert) North America and spent more than eight years at Accenture in its mobile and wireless data practice.
