Eyepartner Unveils SaaS-Based Roku for TikiLIVE

Eyepartner recently unveiled an enhanced Roku set-top box tool set, which consists of a Software-as-a-Service module for its TikiLIVE platform. Users will now be able to administer live and video on demand HD streaming content with the fixed set of tools offered by the premier HD broadcasting platform, TikiLIVE.


 
Different entertainment options are now available to homes and businesses with the popular streaming player, Roku that can connect to a television and wireless network in a simplified manner.

 
The introduction of SaaS (News - Alert) will not only result in decreased infrastructure expenses for broadcasters, but also offer additional advantages of safety, performance and dependability.
 
Broadcasters can publish and administer LIVE content with the TikiLIVE platform. The platform also allows broadcasters to effortlessly and rapidly offer video on demand to Roku channels.
 
The TikiLIVE platform does not require proprietary equipment and can be implemented without any sophisticated training. Broadcasters can generate an infinite number of channel playlists that can be published on ROKU channels. Transcoding of several video formats into 'ROKU-ready' format is also possible.
 
Apart from offering pay-per-view and subscription user verification, the platform allows creation of themed channels.
 
'With Roku, our TikiLIVE broadcasters can stream both live and VOD content to the 2.5 million Roku set-top boxes," said Tim Green, CTO at Eyepartner. "This allows our broadcasters another option to publish content easily and inexpensively with a simple-to-use, click-and-go interface.'
 
A wide-ranging set of tools for generating and administering live HD streaming content is offered by TikiLIVE. Broadcasters can brand connect, administer and monetize HD content in a simplified manner with the TikiLIVE platform.
 
Viewer routines can be monitored instantaneously.
 
The platform also offers click-thru statistics from all the channels. Networks of digital video inventory can be uploaded, stored and managed using the platform. The TikiLIVE also offers the ability to develop an interactive broadcasting network community.
 
Apart from creating LIVE or on-demand delivery services, the platform allows HD or SD video on demand to be uploaded, transcoded and delivered.
