Aug 23, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Coming this October to the Intercontinental Hotel Chopan Plaza in Miami, Florida is the Hacker Halted conference, an event for computer forensics training.
According to a release, the days leading up to the Hacker Halted conference will feature hands-on training classes in security and forensics. These classes are going to be led by Subject Matter Experts. The featured course is being sponsored by Advanced Security by TrainACE, it is the CHFI, or Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (trainace.com/courses/chfi/).
The CHFI is a computer forensics certification. With the rapid expansion of attacks on networks the necessity for law enforcement and criminal prosecution is highly on the rise. Hacking and attacks are becoming much more deep and complex, so the need for advanced forensics skill sets increase with that. The CHFI class has been one of the top purchased classes at Hacker Halted in each of the years it has been held there.
The Hacker Halted conference has become one of the more skill focused and advanced hacking focused security conferences available. The conference features top industry names and hackers teaching and speaking on topics that helped them to develop their niche and name as a top expert. The conference shifted focus from a more baseline / introductory hacking conference to a more defined advanced conference in the last couple of years. Each year, the conference attendees have grown substantially.
The CHFI computer forensics training class is being taught by a high level forensics expert, Robert Reed and it is being administered by Advanced Security by TrainACE. TrainACE was the EC-Council ATC in each of the last two years and is known as one of the most respected names in computer security and forensics training. The exam will be delivered on the final day by the EC-Council. The class will be held from 10/25 10/28/12.
