Tango Networks Appoints Brenda Boehm as President and Chief Executive Officer


FRISCO, Texas --(Business Wire)--

Tango Networks, a leading technology provider that enables enterprises to embrace the power of Mobile Unified Communications (News - Alert), is officially announcing the appointment of Brenda Boehm as President and Chief Executive Officer. Tango is also welcoming a new Americas sales leader, and supporting sales team members who are joining the company at a time of significant growth.

Ms. Boehm is a respected leader within the industry, with more than 20 years of experience in wireless and wireline telecommunications. Prior to Tango, Ms. Boehm directed Cisco Systems' Hosted Cloud Solutions product management organization. Previously, she was Vice President of Business Solutions for Starent Networks (News - Alert), a highly successful mobile telecommunications equipment company that went public in 2007 and was acquired by Cisco in 2009. Before Starent, Ms. Boehm held leadrship responsibility at Nortel Networks, Citizens Communications, MCI, and a number of other communications service providers. She is an alumnus of the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the Southern Methodist University school of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Tango is also announcing Craig Freeman as the Vice President of Sales for the Americas and member of the senior management team. Mr. Freeman has more than 25 years of sales experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Tango, Mr. Freeman was the Vice President of Sales for GENBAND North America, Vice President of International GPON Sales Development for Ericsson (News - Alert), and has held various executive sales positions at Entrisphere, Paradyne, Santera Systems, Accelerated Networks, and Nortel. He oversees the Americas sales team, which includes telecommunications veterans with extensive experience who will help promote Tango's Mobile Unified Communications and mobile PBX (News - Alert) solutions to Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile carriers.


The company has also engaged the services of Ward Hill Marketing to assist with strategy, development, and execution of the global marketing program. The Ward Hill Marketing team has extensive experience working with companies in various stages of global expansion.
