Alcatel One Touch Launches Phone on U.S. Cellular's Enhanced Messaging PlanAug 20, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Alcatel One Touch announced the upcoming availability of the One Touch Premiere, the first premium messaging phone offered by U.S. Cellular, on the carrier's new monthly data service option, Messaging Plus. According to a release, One Touch Premiere offers a messaging and mobile web experience that includes pre-loaded applications and access to weather, maps, navigation, email, web browsing and social media. The One Touch Premiere is brought to market by Personal Communications Devices and is available to U.S. Cellular customers. "Our goal is to provide U.S. customers with quality devices at prices affordable on any budget," said Rayford Higginbotham, Executive Director for North America. "The One Touch Premiere does just that, giving consumers a great messaging phone that's loaded with features and is easy to use." The One Touch Premiere's design offers an integrated 2.8" capacitive touchscreen and built-in full QWERTY keyboard, perfect for communicating and connecting on the go. Smart management tools like a battery manager, email, maps and navigation with GPS, calendar and voice recorder help customers easily balance their busy lives. It has 3G network capability.
