Duo tap into apps market [Sentinel, The (Stoke-on-Trent, England)]

(Sentinel, The (Stoke-on-Trent, England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A PAIR of university graduates have launched a new business specialising in smart phone apps.

James Stanley and Russell Hunt, who studied web development at Staffordshire University, have opened App Haus. The duo, who are both aged 22 and live in Stafford, took part in a university-run enterprise scheme during their studies.

James said: "We make iPhone, Android and mobile web apps for clients.

"Our real jumping off point was developing the Staffordshire Student Experience app for Staffordshire University Students' Union, which was a great experience and an important development." Russell added: "A lot of what we do is completely bespoke so clients come to us for a more creative approach, and we are in a lot of discussions at the moment to take the company forward."
