Infortel Select's Newest Service Keeps Enterprises' VoIP in Line

Contributing TMCnet Writer

Recently, ISI (News - Alert) Telemanagement Solutions rolled out a new service known as Infortel Select with VoIP View, a service geared toward offering a simple call accounting solution for businesses looking to bring in VoIP service to their operations.

While its primary focus is on viewing, tracking and accounting for IP telephony systems, there are also several other features to the system that make it especially useful for those looking to bring it on board.

Infortel Select can be brought into a business' operations in several ways. It can be set up as an onsite application, a Web-based Application Service Provider system, or even done entirely offsite, with changes made fairly easily according to the business' needs.

Plus, with VoIP View - an optional add-on module - users can get access to both call accounting and billing functions that can quickly let users know the details of their VoIP system, like how many, how long and how much.

Reporting tools can let managers know if there are problems in the system that need to be worked out, especially in regard to abuse of the system, and can even provide a useful tool for boosting revenue with determining how to allocate expenses like equipment and similar one-time fees.

With the variety of options in configuration comes extra features, depending on the selected configuration. Those choosing an onsite option get maximum control, but will have to set up their own hardware. They'll also get access to either the Infortel Select Desktop, a version geared toward smaller companies that stores under two million calls, or Infortel Select Enterprise, which allows for much more in terms of storage, total users, and the ability to upscale as needed.

Those going with an Application Service Provider concept, meanwhile, get the services as more of a Web-based product.

Lastly, the outsourced version comes in either Infortel Select Corporate Security, offering an audit trail of activity which serves as source material in corporate security matters like abuse or harassment; and Infortel Select Advantage, which opens up the floodgates and provides a full call accounting solution complete with access to a dedicated Customer Account Coordinator to help meet the enterprise's needs.

Basically, ISI Telemanagement Solution's lineup looks to offer something for just about every size business, or for every business' individual needs. From call reporting to call accounting and beyond, there's likely to be something in here for every business that has made the jump to VoIP for their voice calling.

The benefits of VoIP have been widely explored, and a call accounting system like those offered from ISI only improves the situation from there.
