Garantia Data Closes Funding; Named AWS Partner

Garantia Data today announced two major milestones since launching its fully automated, in-memory NoSQL cloud services at GigaOm's Structure LaunchPad in June 2012. The company has concluded its seed funding round, totaling $3M (News - Alert) from leading angels, including a group of investors that also seed funded StoreWise (sold to IBM in July 2010), Zohar Gilon (a reputable Israeli investor who invested in over 100 startups globally) and The Time Innovations (a group investing in media startups). The company was also recently accepted into the prestigious AWS Partner Network (APN) and is among the first AWS Partners ever to gain public designation as a Standard Technology Partner.
