Michigan Government Agencies Enhanced System Saves on Procurement Costs With IPT by BidNetDETROIT, MI, Aug 07, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Interactive Procurement Technologies by BidNet (IPT) launches a new version of the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing System enabling local government agencies in Michigan to cut procurement costs. On the behalf of the MITN Purchasing System's 1,209 government agency departments, IPT launched an enhanced web site (www.mitn.info) which provides a resourceful online platform for local government agencies to streamline their procurement process and reduce costs, while making it easier for vendors to do business with the government.
