Shares of Great Northern Iron Ore Rank the Highest in Terms of Revenue Per Employee in the Steel Industry (GNI, FRD, STLD, ZEUS, SCHN)


Jul 30, 2012 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Steel industry with the highest Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.Great Northern Iron Ore ranks highest with a an RPE of $2.9 million. Following is Friedman Industries with a an RPE of $1.6 million. Steel Dynamics ranks third highest with a an RPE of $1.3 million.

Olympic Steel follows with a an RPE of $1.2 million, and Schnitzer Steel Industries rounds out the top five with a an RPE of $1.1 million.
