CyrusOne Announces First San Antonio Customer: Park Place International

Global data center services provider, CyrusOne (News - Alert), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB), announced today that Park Place International signed on as the first customer at its San Antonio location.

A one-of-a-kind facility, CyrusOne's San Antonio data center location is situated on 10 acres of land and offers more than 20 megawatts of power. CyrusOne's Sky for the Cloud™ peering and interconnection platform enables cloud performance through dedicated data halls that meet the redundant power, connectivity, and capacity needs of the data-rich service model.

In addition to being the most advanced data center in the San Antonio area, the facility also offers customers Class A office space, which enables employees to be located in the same facility as their infrastructure.

Park Place International features infrastructure-as-a-service solutions designed specifically for hospitals and healthcare providers using the MEDITECH healthcare information system. Cloud service offerings include OpSus|Live, fully managed MEDITECH hosting services, and OpSus|Recover, disaster recovery services for MEDITECH and enterprise applications. Customers have the option of building or buying complete solutions, or assembling a combination of cloud services and installed infrastructure to create a custom hybrid solution to meet their unique requirements.

CyrusOne announced in December it would deliver the first enterprise data center in San Antonio. The addition of the San Antonio facility to CyrusOne's Texas footprint completes the company's expansion plan for the state, with facilities now available in the four major commercial markets of Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
